“Can you hear the voice of my silence? Can you feel the monochromatic calmness on the surface of my body? My creator Ariel Reichman intimately liberated me from Cuban-Amercian artist Felix Gonzalez-Torres’s photographic series of vultures gliding in the sky. These images by Gonzalez-Torres were sadly one of his last before his untimely death from AIDS. I represent that loss and hope in life, magnified and made up of millions of pixelated pencil dots. Reproduced without the vultures, reproduced exposing the intricate details of my soul.
I am a creation by Ariel Reichman and I come from the I Am Sorry Felix, But We Are Just Too Scared To Fly series.”
