“Like all great friendships, I stand the test of time. Pure and rare, my origins emerged from an extraordinary friendship between artist and winemaker, between the East and the West. My unique allure began on the hilly slopes of Côtes des Blancs, one of the five main wine regions within the iconic Champagne region of France. Elegant and intense, my sparkling composition is of the Blanc de Blancs variety, a phrase to signify my brilliance, my devotion, my purity, made entirely from white Chardonnay grapes. Bottled and hidden in a shadowy space since March 2013, I have languished in the hazy afternoons, virtuous, daydreaming patiently as my glistening golden nectar gently enhanced to perfection. Restless from years of slumber, I am dressed for celebration by contemporary Spanish artist, Miquel Barceló. Wrapped in a complex and abstract artwork portraying a mysterious octopus, the illusionist of the sea. I am best enjoyed, responsibly at a cool 10˚C, at this temperature my delectable freshness is enhanced with delicate ribbons of fine bubbles amplifying notes of mild stone fruits, tender petals of an acacia flower, saffron, citrus zest, and a whisper of hazelnut.
I am a Champagne Réserve Perpetuelle, a creation by Pont des Arts and I come from the Pierre Péters estate.”
