Do not rush past me.
I come from the Here Comes a Feeling You Thought You’d Forgotten, series by Mixed-Media Expressionist Artist, Linn Tieu – and I am one of its first quiet awakenings.
I am shaped from memory itself – those invisible things that linger longer than thought: scent, sound, taste, the soft imprint of feeling. I carry language too, gently gathered and collaged from the pages of Remembrance of Things Past – the first English translated edition of Marcel Proust’s À la recherche du temps perdu, now widely known as In Search of Lost Time. My antique pages sit within the public domain. My passages are not quoted so much as remembered – woven into me with care, like the fragments returning home.
If you look closely, I hold a secret. The first letter of each page, when read together, forms a hidden message – something i keep for those who linger long enough to notice. I am not loud. I am a whisper that waits to be found.
I am brought to life through the timeless fusion of technology and artistry, rendered with the exquisite finesse of the Giclèe (pronounced ‘zhee-clay’) printing process and shaped with the refinement of the latest Canon PROGRAF PRO6100. I am given breath through the 12-colour LUCIA EX ink system. The result, I embody all the richness of an impressive colour gamut, with enhanced scratch resistance, preserving every detail in quiet clarity – my worn textures, faded tones, layered echoes of my antique pages.
I rest upon Canson Photographique Photo Rag 310gsm. Made in France from 100% cotton – a smooth matte surface that holds me like a quiet breath, allowing every tone and texture to unfold in contemplative stillness.
I am not just an image.
I am a passage.
A glimpse.
A memory returning, as if you had once forgotten me… and are only now remembering how I feel.
I am Act II-A. Eventually All These Words Won’t Be Enough and I come from the Here Comes a Feeling you Thought You’d Forgotten series.
