Stillness that moves

“When I work with water in my art, I often try to step aside, to let it be. I allow water to paint itself, to let it move, shape, and express without interference. Water is not simply an element, it’s a living presence. When I started with this series, I would imagine I was a conductor guiding an orchestra, the sea rising and falling like a symphony of unimaginable power. But the truth is, water can’t be conducted, it simply can’t be forced, it has its own life. In the end, I realised all I ever wanted was to show that water is life. It is you. It is me. Just like water, we are not fragile, we are fluid, we are able to move around, reshape, and still nourish everything we touch. Water teaches us surrender, resilience, and renewal. It invites us to flow forward in life, to live not in resistance, but in harmony.”
